LIBRARY DEPARTMENT
DMMCIHS College library was established at the founding of the school in August 2002. It is arranged according to the Dewey Decimal Classification System. Presently, it provides materials and services to meet the instructional research and extension needs of students of the school.
At present, the school has computer units with internet connections for the students, and for library personnel, which allow students to finish their research works and to facilitate online searching from other libraries and institutions related to the field of health professions and education.
The library is open 40 hrs a week from Monday to Friday, 7:00am till 5:00pm with continuous service.
Reserve Books – are required reading materials for courses offered during the semester, they may be borrowed for overnight use but are otherwise for room use only.
Reference Collection – This includes dictionaries, encyclopedias, yearbook, handbooks, almanacs, directories, bibliographies, biographies, maps and atlases, etc. These are consulted for definite information rather than read through, these materials are for room use only. (inside library)
Filipiniana Collection – These are books written by Filipino authors, or about the Philippines, or published in the Philippines.
Serials Collections – It includes journals & periodicals
Book Collection – These are circulation books available for home loans, which are arranged according to DDC System Foreign and Filipiniana Collection.
The references/resources in this library are arranged according to the (DDCS) Dewey decimal classification System.

300 – 399 – Social Sciences
400 – 499 – Language
500 – 599 – Natural Sciences & Mathematics
