Mission

The guidance and counseling office will play a dynamic role in the student’s development in all areas of life and help them to become secured, self-directed, equipped with employable skills and attitudes which is highly competitive locally and globally, and self-sufficient individuals through planned psychological services and multi-disciplinary approach in testing, career/vocational development, and guidance and counseling.

Group Guidance Sessions/Group Counseling

• To help students gain self-confidence, enhance their self-esteem, and recognize their strength and weaknesses.
• To facilitate student’s growth through emphatic listening to their concerns, dreams, hopes, expectations, struggles, conflicts, stress, etc.
• To motivate students to attain academic excellence and harness their skills relevant to their chosen profession.
• To establish rapport and trust between students and counselor.

Individual Guidance Sessions/Individual Counseling

• To assists the students to make interpretations of facts relating to choice, plan or adjustment which she/he needs to make.
• To help the students know themselves better, their interests, abilities, aptitudes, and available opportunities.
• To provide hope, alternative solutions to problems and classification in times of difficulties.
• To assists students in planning for their educational and vocational choices.
• To establish rapport and trust between students and counselor.
• To inspire successful endeavor towards the attainment or realization of objectives.
• To encourage special talents and develop right attitudes.

Information Service

• To create an awareness of the need and an active desire for accurate and valid occupational, educational, and personal-social information.
• To develop a broad and realistic view of life’s opportunities and problems at all levels of training.
• To promote attitudes and habits, which will assist in the making of choices and adjustments productive of personal satisfaction and effectiveness.
• To provide an understanding of the wide scope of educational, occupational, and social activities in terms of broad categories of related activities.

Out of School Follow up

• To instill in the graduates a sense of belongingness and security which result when a school continues to seek the advancement and satisfaction of its alumni.
• To analyze the effectiveness of the school curricula.

• To secure data for curriculum revision.
• To secure data for the prevention of school drop-outs
• To train students in the needs of community enterprises.

Individual Inventory Service

• To collect data about the learners from the time they begin schooling
• To create a record that is cumulative, inclusive, unbiased, objective and unopinionated.
• To keep the records systematically and conveniently filed and accessible to the guidance counselor, the instructors, and the administrators who may, from time to time, make good use of the information found therein.
• To continually monitor the numbers of students coming in and out of the school.

Placement Service

• To assist them to develop the right attitudes toward life and its problems.
• To assists them in discovering and developing their natural aptitude.
• To give them opportunities for expressing their social instincts in helping and inspiring services
• To inculcate in students both theory and by practice the principles of good citizenship.
